While Mr Beast's efforts have been widely praised, some activists and journalists in Kenya have used this opportunity to shed light on the failures of their government. Prominent activist Boniface Mwangi criticizes the Kenyan government for their inability to provide basic necessities like clean water to its citizens, contrasting it with Mr Beast's philanthropy.
